Dolcetti incantatori

Comincio a girare in tondo.
"Vi va di disegnare?"
"Dopo mamma"
Ecco tiriamo fuori l'artiglieria pesante allora.
"Dopo Tom e Jerry mamma".
"Cocco O cioccolato, oppure cioccolato E cocco?"
..........
"Cosa hai detto mamma?"
E i loro occhi finalemente mi guardano.

Sembra facile....

Sweet charmers
In a short time, the snack is ready

There are days when I do not exist. My kids get home from school but ... they plunge into his electric's arms.
Sometimes, I speak the truth, somethimes it makes me comfortable. But sometimes ... I'm jealous.
I start going in circles.
"Would you like to draw?"
"After Mom"
And the two pairs of eyes remain fixed on her, the 'other'.
"Hmmmm I tell you a story?"
Here I pull out the big guns
. Stupid rival, you just repeat things done by others, I am able to invent stories and make my kids laugh so much .. And now, what can you do?
"After Tom and Jerry mom. "
Damn, I can not be KO by a television. I do not give up.
"Coconut OR chocolate, or chocolate AND coconut?"
...................
"What did you say Mom?"
And their eyes look at me now.
Sounds easy ....

This recipe, which my friend Lysb gave me, seems made for them: the coconut for Artur and the dark chocolate for Ginevra.

But there are not only children, even the older must be captured. Here the scent of orange, unexpected and original, give to this recipe the extra touch that transforms these small delights  infinger foods to offer in a buffet or during a tea time. In short, it is a eclectic recipe, ideal for snacks of all ages.

In short,  it  is a eclectic recipe, that enchants young and old people.
Coconut and orange sweets
  • 250 gr grated coconut
  • 50 g sugar
  • egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla powder
  • 3 tablespoons rum
  • grated zest of 2 oranges
  • dark chocolate to cover
Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
Mix all ingredients in order to obtain a compound with which to form little balls. In case of need I add one or two tablespoons of water.

I dampen a sheet of baking paper, squeeze it well and I put it on a baking sheet. The wet sheet to prevent cookies from sticking to the bottom and adheres well on to the substrate.

With my hands I make irregular balls the size of a walnut, that I put on the sheet.
Bake everything at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes

Out of the oven I let the cookies cool.
Meanwhile, I melt the chocolate in a double boiler.
Then I pour the chocolate over the cookies and let cooling.

I can take a picture before they all end up?
